I’m just back from pizza night in the Lanterna. I think  there were six nationalities represented tonight.

And before that I had a visit from a friend.

I never thought that I’d know so many people from different countries.

Most of today I drew or painted.

Was putting something away in the cupboard when I saw a collection of not very good sculptures  I made about 25 years ago and the one I made of James . They were in front of a drawing I did for a friend and a painting I did of a strange man. And I thought, that I would like to paint that.

Then I used neocolours to draw it.

It is such a good feeling when I see something I really want to paint.

Also today I tried painting on the handmade paper. I arranged some flowers in a jar and had a go…..

I have a lot to learn about watercolours.
