I’ve been sitting watching a video on painting flowers with watercolours.

It’s  been a different kind of day.

This morning I went to the comune to get my new ID card. I waited for ages and my back ached. Then a person walked past me and straight into the office. If they had asked to go ahead I’d have probably said,” yes,” but I was a bit frustrated having to wait longer as they took ages. I tried to convince myself that this was my chance to be doing a good deed , but my back was getting really sore   ……and to cap it all , they looked straight at me on their way out and said that I should have more patience!

Oh, and my card hadn’t arrived so I have to go back on Friday.

However I bought wine in the butcher’s  on the way back and the lady there was really sweet.

And I treated myself to an artistic coffee.

There is something happening up at the little church.

I took time to notice that my  tidy downsized garden is looking good.

Today I was in the countryside for the first time in ages visiting friends and having lunch. It was really hot, but good fun. I tried out my new sunglasses.

It’s  windy outside now, I’m cosy inside with 1940s  jazz playing on youtube and wine in a glass that my parents got when they were married. Nice.
