It was my second time to go to the comune and see if my new ID card had arrived.
There was a very cold wind blowing and I’d to put my hat on.

This time I only had to wait about 20 minutes. My card was there! And the person in the office asked if it was me in the video which they really liked.
This is the video. Being in it was possibly the best fun I ever had. ( except for the voice over…..I don’t like hearing my voice.)

I walked home with a big smile on my face……and popped in for a coffee on the way.
This was also the first day being out when I mostly wasn’t aware of having a sore back or toe. Hurray!
After much faffing around with paint and paper I’ve finally decided to use Caran D’ache Gouache tablets as the easiest medium to use and travel with. Spent some time watching videos of people using them on youtube to confirm that it was a good idea. ( I think it’s supposed to be the other way around!)
And finally I finished my practice piece on handmade paper. I am so impressed with how tough the paper is. A lot of paper…even watercolour paper, buckles if you keep painting over and over it. This was seriously overpainted, but the only place it showed any stress was where I attempted to scrub the paint off with a sponge.

It’s been mostly fun trying out different types of paint and subjects. Maybe when I’m in Scotland I’ll do some more practice.
Today my last package from Temu arrived. ( there’s no time to order anything else even if I wanted to. ) I’ve been about 90% pleased with what I’ve bought. That’s more than I expected.
And it’s just reminded me that today I managed to download 2 photos I took with my teeny tiny camera, onto my tablet.

Now it’s the weekend and wine time…….
Cheers🍷🍷
I also collected the straightest bits of broken chair and brought them inside.
