After my 4 month stay here last year I’ve appreciated catching up with old friends.

So today was a good day catching up. Coffee and a house tour. And a lot of memories.

I wish I could have taken photos of the roadside as there are masses of daffodils.  Gorgeous……

For some unknown reason I couldn’t  sleep last night. Maybe the rain battering on the velux window didn’t help.

I tried listening to boring audio stories, watched TV, ate indigestion pills…..they are strawberry and taste much too good and wrote ” stuff”. Eventually about 3.30am I fell asleep, then was wide awake at 6.30am.

However despite being a bit dopey I’ve booked lots of trains , a bus to the airport and flight back to Bari in June.

I tried painting one of my drawings of Verona, but got tired and have left it for tomorrow.

Despite it being cold today there are lots of flowers coming out.

Now it’s  wine time. I bought peppery oatcakes yesterday instead of crisps. Nice!
