I like to check Facebook memories every day .I don’t use Facebook for hardly any reason other than advertising paintings now, but I like looking back. This was one of today’s photos from several years ago.

It was a painting I did as part of “paint september” on twitter and is a ledge in the porch in the country house full of plants and antiques and looking out on the garden.I was very pleased with it. I think I might have sold it to the current owners. It makes me feel quite nostalgic. I remember how lovely it occasionally looked…..

Today I had the September lurgy. At least I think that is what it is. Am fairly sure I remember feeling ill every year at this time. I think it’s the change of temperature.

But I did start doing some yoga again. (Tick!)

And I painted 2 more practice landscapes ” in a loose fashion” and watched more art videos.

I decided that I needed the confidence to believe I would improve. ( not that I would be able to do something first time.)

And I had visitors. Actual “sit down , have a glass of wine” visitors. That makes about 4 times in nearly 2 years.

Now it’s wine time . Hurray!!
