2023 in Pisticci.. .well, that was a busy Monday…

I’d planned to ease into work by drawing a couple of plans for my next mural.

But first I had to pick up a prescription at the farmacia.

The mist was beginning to lift.

I was back by 9am.

Making plans is a pleasant occupation except for the measuring. I try to draw the building I’ll paint on to scale. Mostly I use crayons and this time also my new acrylic pen brushes.

So I’ve made 2 plans and despite my best efforts they are not exactly the same size.

It won’t really matter that much , but I just don’t understand why I can’t do it right.

That kept me busy until 3pm. But in the meantime my neighbour popped round to see if I would like a piece of furniture.

As I don’t have any fitted cupboards and most of my art stuff is scattered on open shelves I was tempted and said ,”yes. “

So about 4pm I cleared a space and half an hour later I had a new dresser type thing.

The space. My walls are fairly horrible.
Storage
Filled up and organised

It only took me another half hour to fill most of it up. ( but not the bottom half , so I’m looking forward to organising some of my art supplies in there.)

Then I remembered that I had to go out to the art shop and collect a canvas and paints for a competition to paint a feste carriage.

And finally I checked a friend’s house . Everything was okay.

So now I can sit down.

Time for a glass of homemade wine.

Cheers 🍷🍷
