A very steep hill and too far from a main road to catch a bus. Then there are the wild boars…….

Perfectly okay if you have a car.

Not so good if you don’t.

I thought about getting a lift into the nearest railway station and going exploring while my family( with the car) were off out at wedding stuff, but this place is almost as difficult to leave and return to as Pisticci. 3 trains daily.

So plan B was to paint.

It’s very beautiful here so I’ve found a suitable view to try to paint tomorrow. It’ll be a challenge as I have one half decent brush.

I actually did 2 drawings, but this one looked best.

This morning I used the coloured pencils and drew a flower just to see how it would look.

Hopefully tomorrow I won’t feel quite so cut off.

There might be visitors coming .

Meanwhile I’ve amused myself by taking a photo of myself in my swimsuit and then using my paint app gave myself really white teeth , brown legs and a couple of inches off my waste. What’s funny is that I sent it to my daughter who must’ve just glanced at it and replied that I looked great.

Maybe the next time I’m on my own I might even go in the pool. ( really ….not just adjusted….though that would be fun to try to make myself look as if I was. The water is quite cold so I’m not terribly keen. )

It’s wine time now and the family should be home soon from a pool party.

There is enough wine for 2 days ,so all’s well.
