It’s been another lovely sunny day.

The pool and garden man was here for about 3 hours this morning making this little piece of paradise even more shiny and luscious.

However it did prevent me from doing my 3 minutes of yoga outside.

And I had started to paint before I remembered that I’d forgotten.

I had a children’s sketch pad and I only have a pen and no pencil.

So I drew out the scene I’d chosen and using the children’s poster paints and the one decent brush I set to work.

(These photos were supposed to be after the next part of the post , but I don’t know how to shift them around. )

Now the painting is stuck under 2 heavy encyclopaedias in the hope that it will flatten out.

It went better than expected.

There are guests here today who are mostly hanging around the pool.

I’ve retreated to my favourite place to write this and have also taken several photos as I would like to paint this next.

Now I should go and be sociable. And get more wine……
