I had planned to fall asleep and set my alarm for just before midnight,  but all evening there were random  fireworks going off. So at about 11.50pm I strolled up to the church which has a great view over Pisticci.  It was just as well that I was early as the big fireworks began before midnight.  There were fireworks all over. I wasn’t alone and it was good to share the experience with someone.

I’ve never managed to share a video before…..hope that worked.

I was a little sorry to say goodbye to 2023.

However I started the year by getting back to my minimal yoga.

Then I updated my work diary for the last month. That included 3 portraits, one dog and 5 hare paintings.

My neighbour , the great cook, dropped by……

And I started my next hare painting.

It’s been a lovely day. I’m glad I was there at the beginning of the year again.

I have a plan for this week, but now it’s wine time.
