I couldn’t sleep last night for thinking about how I was going to sort out my carpet problem.
Looking at rugs for sale online before going to bed probably didn’t help either.
At 3am I was downstairs measuring the carpet in my workroom to see if it would fit in my other room.
I think I may be procrastinating as I have some editing to do….however……..
After breakfast I decided that I just about felt up for some serious moving etc.
Before…a collection of rugs which I liked but people kept tripping over.First job was to empty and move cupboards in workroom so that I could lift the carpet. Henry the hoover looks ready for work…..Now all the rugs and the blanket box are removed exposing the floor I didn’t paint…..Rolling up the carpet exposing more floor I didn’t paint…….Now I had to paint some of the floor as the carpet was smaller. Mixed up some acrylic paint. ( will matte varnish it when it gets warmer) Need to find a rug to cover up most of this floor. Finished painting around the edges. Looks good I think.Painted around the edges here. Looks neat. As a finishing touch I painted curtains on my window. The pelmet was already there.
Am very satisfied with my morning’s work.
It cost nothing.
I sold this yesterday. It was painted 10 years ago today.
