I’m a bit sad tonight as it’s nearly the end of our holiday. It’s  been lovely spending a week with Katy. We seem to be quite comfortable  with each other and like similar things.

I think we should go on holiday together every year. I’d like to go to Valencia in Spain next year. I’m sure it would suit us.

I’ve already decided to go back to Scotland more often now that I can afford to, but without giving up on living in Pisticci.  At the minute my plan is to go 5 times yearly to Scotland instead of 3 times. I think I can survive on just 40 weeks in Italy every year. 

Having said that I know everything can change in a minute. 

Katy is out at the gym right now. She said,” hello” to one of the people who run it when we were on the beach, the nice man from the shop where I bought my flip flops greeted us this morning, the lady in the little bar where we went for coffee di crema every day said goodbye to us. I like this kind of holiday.

Tomorrow we have a taxi booked for 7am.  Katy will fly home to  Scotland and arrive about lunch time while I will spend all day going back and forwards on trains and arrive home about 8pm!

It’s  been a good choice for us. I would recommend  our apartment and this little town for a nice relaxing stress free holiday.

(Just don’t drive!)

It was a lovely sunny day again and we went to the bar for coffee and to watch the traffic, then bought cornettos from the little bakery where you can see them being made. Then we went to the beach where it got very busy, but was perfectly fine. ( I’m on my 5th book on my kindle.)

Tonight we need to pack, but first I need to buy a bigger bag as Katy brought some of my clothes in her suitcase.

I think we should eat ice cream on the balcony before we go to bed.

It’s  been very good.
