I’m lying on my bed, having spent a lazy afternoon reading.  I’ve got crisps, left over from the big bag I bought at the airport and then wished I hadn’t as they took up so much room in my bag, and a glass of red wine.

I realised that I hadn’t taken any photos today.

I was out for lunch , but mainly I’ve just been catching up on sleep .

This is the view now.

Hopefully I’ll be more energetic tomorrow.

But I am enjoying being cosy rather than hot. ( it’s 35C in Pisticci  today.) When I get home in 2 weeks it should be around 25C. Nice!

I had to rebook my bus ticket home as I got muddled up with my dates. I arrive in Bari in the evening and it’s too late to get home so I’m staying in a little village nearby in an apartment with a seaview overnight and going back to the airport to get the airport bus home the next afternoon.  So I’ll be home on Saturday rather than Sunday.

I’m hoping to catch up with friends and family while I’m here as well as ” cooling down.”

Have my tablet with me so I can watch the Sunday vlogs. Wasn’t at all impressed by the choice of programmes on TV.

Starting with a lovely breakfast cooked by my son in law it’s been a very pleasant Sunday.
