After a good night’s sleep I felt much more like getting to work.

I managed to paint 3 more versions of Fluffy.

Just for fun I thought I’d draw a face in my sketchbook using the water soluble oil pastels.

That was fun. Painting and drawing in sketchbooks is relatively new for me.

Other than that today I ordered a  folding table, more gloss varnish and white calligraphy pens online.  I like the idea of having more workspace, which is also portable.

I’d like to keep working in my gallery room, but it gets very cold in the winter.

Usually I move into my living space and then am all crowded onto a small desk.

I have the idea that if I am able to spread out then I will be able to paint more expansively and better. 

This may be thinking along the same lines as, if I had only had a trug then I would have been a better gardener. ( delusional!)

It is nice however to have the whole table in the gallery to spread out on.

It’s pizza night again and tonight I’m thinking of having a crudaiolo ….only I’m not sure how to pronounce it, which is why I had a prosciutto  one last week.

It feels cold and damp outside.

I need to stop and buy wine on the way to the pizzeria.

Later, I’d better look for a thicker jacket.

But now it’s  time for a glass of wine and maybe the latest Sandi Hester video.
