More watching art videos than actually painting or drawing.

Quite a lot of shopping going on. This week I’m planning to make something with potatoes and bacon. I haven’t quite worked out the fine details yet. Whatever it is, it needs to be freezable.

Then I went shopping for snacks.  My room/apartment is filling up with all sorts of stuff.

There’s a snack box , ( dogs live in the kitchen and can’t be disturbed in middle of night) so I keep oatcakes and other odds and ends in there.

Then today I had another tidy out .I discovered a large collection of paracetamols. Hopefully I won’t need them all. They are cheaper here than in Italy.

After investigating the hole in the wall behind the TV I found more acrylic paint and several frames. The frames are back in the hole now, but the acrylics are filling up one of my painting boxes.

It’s been quite a grey and damp day.

7 years ago around this time I was  living in a hospital in Parma  and sketching while sitting on a windowsill in the corner…..wearing plastic gloves.

Then I moved to Reggio Emilia.

I’m hoping to get on with some kind of project here in Perth in a few weeks. Maybe watching art videos will help with ideas.  I nearly bought a David Hockney book today. I saw a photo of lots of digital flower paintings he’s done recently. Loved them.

It would be funny if after getting organised with sketchbooks, paints etc , etc I decided to just use my tablet.

Anyways it’s  wine time. Hurray!!
