2025 in Perth….painting and drawing…..but mostly reading.
It was a bit too miserable to go out for a walk today so I read a lot and finally when I got bored I decided to paint a still life in my sketch book with watercolours.
I found a simple scene on Pinterest .
Later on I tried varnishing it……not one of my better ideas.
Then I thought that I’d draw some more local scenes which I could paint tomorrow.
It’s not at all obvious what they are, but everything is in the right place. It’ll be fine ……
Less than 2 days to go now.
It’s being a very different year so far.
Back in the olden days of 2018 and 2019 …….
This started out as a painting of my grand daughter which I subsequently changed into a little Italian girl and sold the same day.I drew this happy couple with pastels , because I wanted to be them. Don’t know what happened to the painting.My little artist’s house. Still miss it sometimes.Made a reasonable job of this.Liked the atmosphere in this .Gracious, I look miserable! Sold this, but no idea to whom. Set up in my little artist’s house to paint myself….painting myself.I quite like this.
