It was pretty hot today. Maybe that was why I didn’t buy anything at the market.  Or just as likely it was because I don’t need anything.

However it was good to meet friends.

And I got lots of heavy shopping in the supermarket. 

Then I’ve had a rather unsuccessful  painting day.

It’s been hot and I haven’t felt particularly  well today.

I went to the film festival  last night, but it’s just not for me. I left half way through a film as it was so sad/awful/tragic. I think there is so much horribleness happening  in the world that I don’t need reminded. ( The film I was watching might have had a happy ending, but I’m a bit squeamish so I left before the character was sick. )

I think the heat has been bothering me today. After two or three weeks around 30C it’s back up nearer 40C.

I’m not planning on going out tonight.
