Sometimes I sit here and wonder what on earth will I write today.

Then I have some more wine and remember that this is me, chatting to an interested friend about my day.

I had to sit in bed and write something on my computer before I got up this morning. It’s my version of meditation or something similar. The ” killer” back rest makes such a difference.  Eventually I had to get up though.

But by then I had a plan. I’d  been feeling a bit hassled with too much to do.

So after washing my hair. I started work on the grapevine, giving myself 2 hours to finish it.

After 2 hours I put on some nice clothes, ( instead of arty ugly warm stuff) and went out.

Part of my plan was to send finished versions of my paintings to the clients while I was having coffee. Did it. Positive replies from 2 so far…..Phew!!!

It was lovely to be out in the sunshine.

This afternoon I’ve gessoed some canvases, on one of which I plan to paint a close up view of grapes and some leaves. That should be a nice Sunday task.

I enjoyed wearing my new sleeveless jacket. It looks just fine. Pity about the orange jumper.

Now I’m waiting for someone to collect the portrait.

I should be getting picked up on Monday morning to go and paint the grape vine and I’ve started to organise paints etc. Looking forward to using the lovely new colours.

It feels good to have finished all I needed to do.
