2026 in Pisticci….slow Saturday….

It’s been relaxing and satisfactory today.

I think I may have taught myself how to add photos to my practice illustrated diary. After having forgotten how I did it the last time, I wrote down exactly what I needed to do this time. It’s not that I know everything……but it’s a step in the right direction. Very pleased.

Then the washing machine worked and no water came whooshing up into the shower basin.

Next I went out to buy carrots from the veg stall. I’d have gone for a coffee, but I was rushing back to meet the gas man.

I came back via a different street.
Via Sterbini.

I also took a photo which might have been good to draw.

There is still so much I could learn………
I know how to get a nice long sharp point on my charcoal pencils though……

I wore my new travelling coat for the first time and discovered that the pockets were quite small.   So I found some material and made two bigger ones which I sewed in.

Since covid in particular Ive altered a lot of clothes. Now I can put my phone in my pocket.

Travel coat. That is , warmish, able to be squished under plane seat, lightweight and can be worn with anything.

The last group portrait was collected today. So at present I’m commission free. I think I’m finished with charcoal for now and it might be too cold to to paint the next ‘ artist’ painting.

However this week is supposed to be sunny and I have plans for my garden of pots.

Fingers crossed that I can find another Midsomer Murders episode tonight.

Wine time now.

Cheers 🍷 🍷
