2026 in Pisticci….at home….

I had planned to go out about 9am, but I was running late and still feeling a bit off colour.

I hunted around and found some frames which might fit  some of my recent paintings.

I love this little sketch for sentimental  reasons.

Didn’t quite get around to trying  to frame anything else, but had a lovely conversation  about art and neocolour crayons with a friend. I miss arty chats so enjoyed myself a lot. And felt inspired to get back to painting for fun.

I thought that I’d paint the plant my neighbour gave me.

All done with neocolour 11s on black gessoed handmade paper.

Decided that tomorrow will be soon enough to do anything else I need to do. I’m now organised for my next journey  …nearly.

I’ve  been visited by various cats. Fluffy obviously,  but also another two. One is sitting outside …. waiting.

I missed the photo when it stuck its head under the curtain and looked up at me.

The work on the castle is progressing and now the scaffolding is only at the side.

I don’t know just what it is going to be when it is finished.

There is a lot of building work going on nearby. It’s  that time of year.

I feel like an episode of Midsomer Murders  tonight.

Wine time now. Enjoying sitting looking out the door.

Me, 20 minutes ago, wondering what to write.

Cheers🍷🍷
