2026 in Pisticci…day off.

After a disturbed night’s sleep I declared today would be a day of rest.

So I dyed my hair.

And chatted to my daughter on the phone.

Then phoned  Specsavers in Perth and the clinic where I got my cataracts fixed. Now I know what to do.

I’m reading a book which, while I think it’s well written, is a little gloomy. It’s the first in a series of three on my kindle and as I don’t  know how to move onto the next one without reading this one I am working my way through it slowly.

I remembered to read some of my History of Verona book this morning before I got up. I think it might have been written rather a long time ago. It’s  unfortunate that none of the photos will open. But now I know what some of the things I saw are.

After a short visit from a friend I’m feeling a bit more normal. I did go out for a walk , but cut it short as it was so hot.

After 5pm it’s still hot.

I had a little look through an old sketch book and adjusted some drawings with my neocolours.

I think I was using my old wax crayons when I drew this.
I love the scribbly effect
I didn’t touch this as it’s lovely as it is.

I’ve been sitting outside.

Oleanders are gorgeous.
Think this is getting more comfortable.
I love that my oleanders are all different colours

Now I’m looking forward to the weekend.

Cheers🍷🍷
