2026 in Pisticci  ….1st November turned on gas heater.

And this morning while I was brave enough I delved into the dark , dusty corner where the beasties lurk and I keep the bags of pellets.

I found an extra half bag all sealed up and brought it through to sit beside the pellet stove. Step one.

While investigating that corner I took out the big plastic basin I bought for washing my quilt  in and found a space for it under the table in the gallery. To get it in I had to move some paintings which were wrapped up at the back.

They belong to someone in Sweden who has not collected them yet. Only been about 13 years. They look quite good actually.

My first ever cactus painting.

Next I planned to make a sort of mood board full of photos of my time in Verona. It should have taken about an hour, but my email wasn’t  working. Eventually I found a way. If the evil printer would have connected to my WIFI when I got it years ago there should have been no problem. It is connected with a wire and pluggy thing to my oldest, nearly out of date, computer which is very slow but given enough time condescends to allow me to print photos.

I’d forgotten how nice it is to have actual photos.

After lunch, while I was on a roll, I decided to update my work diary. By then my email was working again, thank goodness.

It’s  good to see what I’ve  been doing with commissions.
My personal work .

Eventually about 4.30pm it was time to turn on the gas heater.

Looks cosy.
In the olden days I had a nice painted stove.

Wine time now and Sunday vlogs.

Cheers🍷🍷
