Since the last time I posted , I have been back to Scotland and also had a short holiday in Florence.
And I have also painted several portraits, drawn various things – mostly circular and most recently I have painted scenes on 3 washboards. You know the old wooden crinkly things that people used to use to scrub clothes on.
It was not a clever new idea I came up with , but was asked to do it and being curious to see what I can do I thought i might as well have a go. It is quite tricky but I quite like the results though am not sure if I want a queue of people at the door with washboards. I have painted scenes on old roof tiles before and it is fun to try new things.
so here are my latest works of art. ( And a photo of me in Florence – and one of my studio after I had been inspired by the colours in some cafes in Florence and decided to brighten up my walls)
