I was lucky enough to be in Scotland for my oldest grand daughter’s 18th birthday party so today was mostly about that.

This morning was partly spent in Tescos looking for drinks and snacks. After a long time in Pisticci Tesco’s seems so enormous with an amazing selection of food and drinks and I wandered around saying , ” look at this” and ,” Oh wow! ” quite a lot.

The cake was a somewhat unusual combination of a chocolate caterpillar cake and a rainbow cake, with a few cupcakes for added effect.

Now it’s all over.

I have 2 more days before I should be flying back to Italy.

It’s time for peanut butter and toast I think.

And maybe a small glass of wine….
