After all the videos I watched on painting leaves and even going so far as to paint leaves on an old canvas this morning I just went for it tonight and I’m happy with the result. It’s more decorative than realistic but it works.

I am quite excited about this mural. It is taking over my life. But it’s like creating , with my lovely client , our own little world. I’m enjoying the cooperation. I have ideas. She has ideas . And we are making something fun and hopefully beautiful.

Tomorrow I want to paint a gorgeous pink tree.

And some hydrangeas.

And maybe some hazy background and a statue.

Mostly today I’ve thought about the mural, watched more videos and ordered more white paint.

I fitted in making food for 4 days and the gas man delivered another gas bombola.

It was windy and a bit rainy when I walked home.

Wine and candle time now.

I had been feeling, after getting an electric bill which was only about €20 less than the one I got at this time last year, that I hadn’t made much difference. Then I remembered that the prices have risen a lot here so getting a bill for less is quite an achievement after all.
