2023 in Pisticci….finished the mural at last….

I’m so tired. But happy.

This is how it began. My sketch , which changed in bits along the way
Getting the balustrade right was very difficult for a mathematically challenged person…..
It was quite scary up the ladder. Lots of reference photos balanced on the sofa.
Painted the wisteria first so that I didn’t have to go up the ladder.
Making a lot of progress here including the pink tree
The night that I painted the wall to look like the floor tiles. Was so very pleased with myself.
This side finished
Finished and including swans
I painted the edge of the door last.
Finished.

I could have carried on for another month and fiddled with this and that, but I am happy to say enough.

Now I need a large glass of wine and a good night’s sleep.

Tomorrow I need to prepare to travel to Scotland.
