Maybe I’ve inadvertently arrived during the Scottish summer. I’m so not complaining.

Tonight I am sitting outside writing this after having eaten barbecued chicken. One person is sunbathing!

Most of today I’ve been painting. After , that is, buying some paints etc from the “Works”. I have a plan. However working on the back of an old watercolour painting is not the easiest.

I’ve been sitting on a stool with the painting balanced on my knee.

However I have a plan for what to do next.I want to change the colours. The wooden frame which I bought in a charity shop can be painted to match.

Now it’s wine time sitting in the garden in the sunshine …….in Scotland.

I think there might have been storms in Pisticci yesterday.
