After feeling quite tired yesterday I thought that it might be a good idea to have a couple of more relaxing days, before making the most of the remainder of my time here.

I’m not exactly sure about what relaxing is for me. Staying in bed all day reading would be torture. So I decided that I’d  start by doing some relaxing painting and then go out later to a park nearby. And sit about.

I couldn’t  actually find the park, but I found a shady spot with seats. There were another two women sitting there. It was cool and I could see the castle in the distance over the river. I’m thinking of going back tomorrow.  In fact finding cool places is a good idea before it gets really hot.

After a two hour lunch break I was bored so got on with painting until 4pm. Very relaxing. I’m liking mixing gouache and neocolours.

Seeing as I was trying to have a restful day I considered not going out in the afternoon. But I was afraid of missing something.

Home again and tomorrow I’m meeting a friend of a friend from Verona..

Wine time now. Feeling relaxed.
