This morning I went out to look for a bank. The first one with a money machine/ bancomat, was so complicated and possibly closed that I decided to look further.

So I walked on past the castellated Bridge and found another supermarket.  Then quite by chance I found a Chinese shop. Hurray!!

Because, at the last minute,  I didn’t bring my lightweight elephant bag I’ve been wondering how to carry home some of the things I’ve bought here. I was considering a supermarket bag, but I found a very respectable  cool bag for €7.50.  in the chinese shop which is just the right size.

I’m going home by train so I can be a bit more relaxed about luggage.

I didn’t  find another bank.

( Bought another art book from the secondhand book stall. So now I have four. )

Started painting today. This is after the first few layers. Lots more to go. Am enjoying this.

Although I was quite tired I decided to go for a short walk before being inside for the night.

Last night I watched ” 39 steps” I like old black and white films. Might look for another similar tonight. Good and bad were relatively simple in these days.
