2026 in Verona ..filming in my street…

It’s not really my street, it’s  just that I spent a lot of time drawing and painting it. And  it’s very pretty.

I had walked into that street and then taken another exit.   Walking towards Piazza Erbe I was stopped by a man  who said something about filming. And there in front of me the road was partly taped off. So I stood and watched as actors walked back and forward and then out of sight. Eventually when it was finished I walked past and my street was completely blocked with cameras and sound equipment.

Probably was this.

Having looked this up reminded me how much I’ve learned while I’ve  been here. It would not have occurred  to me to check previously,  but now I check to see if shops are open as well as where they are. It has taken me a while to get a bit more Internet savvy but I’m appreciating it. . Thanks mainly to Katy

This morning I headed for the chinese shop to buy a small fan. They had a great selection and for 13 euros I bought a table fan, a hand held chargeable one and an original wavy one. As well as nail varnish.

I’m testing this as it says it will last up to 2 hours on one charge. It’s on at minimum. I thought that I might need it on the train on Saturday.

Despite my best efforts, or maybe it would have always been like this, this week is turning into preparing to go home.

So today I brushed the floors in the whole apartment. I have been quite tidy so I should be able to leave it in the same condition as when I arrived.

Finished the last watercolour etc painting.

It’s  okay.
Nearly forgot to add the wires which support the trees.

Made myself go out at 5pm.
Still looking up. Even though I’ve stayed in the historic centre I’ve found new streets every day.
Everything  is a work of art.
Creepy birds.

I’m scared of pigeons. So if I had to pick something I didn’t like about being here that would be it.

Wine time now.

Cheers🍷🍷
