2026 in Pisticci  . More painting and stuff…..

I had planned to go to the comune today, but partly due to having a sore eye and a few other things I decided to go tomorrow instead.

But I’m organised. Got documents, messaged dentist, checked out possible exhibition in August and measured the door for a new curtain.

However I was out briefly at midday when one of the couriers said he couldn’t  come to my house.

Was really hot! Not much shade.

This morning after selling another Verona painting I framed 2 more for myself.

Drew this with my beautiful  fountain pen. ( then screwed the top back on the ink bottle so hard that I couldn’t open it. )

Most of today I’ve been working on the metal panel. It’s not going very fast…but it is only Monday. If I could have the painting finished by Friday afternoon I would be pleased.

Progress….

Then I worked on some of the Verona paintings which I think could be improved.

Cut a bit off this as I didn’t like the composition.
Painted out all the people. I like it more now. It was one of my favourite places to sit. I loved that the trees were holding each other up.

Today I got on to artists in my history of Verona book. Its been all wars and murders so far.

Wine time now I think.
