It’s been a very busy day for me.

Before I went out I painted a lot of grass. It was about as much fun as it sounds!

Then I went to the comune to confirm that I had sold the country house 13 years ago. When I got there I was lucky. I got a seat next to an elderly gentleman who was holding the same form that I had. By the time the person in charge of ” seeing to” the forms arrived there were about 7 of us. It was very sociable and quite relaxing really. It only took a few minutes to get the details taken so I thought I’d just pop round to the dentist and organise an appointment. There was only one person in front of me so I now have an appointment for Friday.

After doing some shopping  I returned home with a new net curtain and pole.

Only to find that the scaffolding that I had been expecting for months was finally going to be put up tomorrow,  so all my flowers will have to be moved. ( not by me! The scaffolder said he would move them. )

While I was in town I had popped into the optician and arranged to see the eye doctor about my sore eye. 

So at 5pm I was off out again. Turns out my eye problem is nothing to worry about and I have a prescription for drops…..but I also have a secondary cataract in my left eye. Surprise!!! .

Apparently it’s quite common and can be treated by laser.

So now I’m  having a glass of wine before going to the pizzeria and eating tuna and tomatoes.
