I woke up at 5am and got dressed at 6am incase the scaffolders arrived early. I wanted to tell them where to put my flowers.
I was lying on my bed reading about artists in Verona in the past when I heard the bin men coming. Crossed my fingers and held my breath. Hurray!!! They took away a whole lot of odds and ends which had been sitting outside since April.
That was a very good start to the day.
When it was 8am and there were no scaffolders in sight I thought that I might as well paint.

I carried on painting until there was a knock at my door and scaffolding was about to begin.
The guys were all very friendly and said that they expected to be finished in two or three days. I had been expecting two or three weeks.

As there wasn’t much chance of a relaxing three hour lunch break I painted until about 3pm. I need to finish the flowers and touch up a few things and then I can leave it to dry.
The person who commissioned it dropped by so now I know it’s acceptable.

Then I had to go and collect my eye drops from the farmacia.

I found a shirt in the chinese shop almost exactly the same as the one I bought in Verona. So now I have a geen one and a purpley one.
Finally I’m back home and I’ve used my eyedrops for the first time. Feels good.
Quite tired now……
Wine time. Cheers🍷🍷
