Today I had a visitor who used to sleep in my house when they were a child. I always knew that Nella’s family owned this house , but it was lovely to imagine, a little, how it used to be.
So today I painted two small paintings of my house and of Nella leaning on the railings as she used to do.

It felt good to go up town this morning about 8am.

It’s always good to feel part of the community and greet people I know. After 21 years I have some history.
The big metal panel is supposed to be collected tonight. Afterwards I will be glad to be able to close my door and keep the heat out instead of having to leave it open to let the smell out.
I was up before 6am to paint the final coat of varnish. ( I remembered to stick masking tape across the gaps on the painting side.)
I’m looking forward to my next project ….my choice …once I’ve decided what it is. In the meantime I have another 9 small canvases to keep me occupied.
It’s windy outside, but not particularly cool.
Wine time now I think .
Cheers🍷🍷
