Oh dear! I am feeling rather embarrassed  as tonight I went off to the pizzeria and on my way up the horrible steps I tripped and landed on my face in front of three young men.

I was mortified and got to my feet at speed saying something like ,” That was quite an entrance” . One of the young men kindly said, ” you did that for the camera, didn’t you?”

I marched up the rest of the steps and turned right to go back home past the church.

I’d like to blame it on my sandals as I’ve tripped several times in the house with them…………

However the worst thing was that it made me feel old.

Now I’ve put my knee support on  the knee which is scraped worst and am hoping that I don’t have a big bruise on my chin tomorrow.

Other than that it’s  been a nice day.

My house is looking so very white.

I started the portrait commission . It looks good so far.

Then I did another portrait with crayons.

Now I need something to eat.

And a nice relaxing episode of Maigret.
