And the beginning of the sputnik festival.

It’s  also my sister’s 70th birthday. That makes two of us in our 70s  now. How did that happen………..

This morning it was cool sitting outside.

Before I got the cat food outside ….

It was then  time for some aerobic weight bearing exercise …known commonly as carrying shopping up steps.

Back home I worked on yesterday’s  portrait.

Then due to my mild obsession with traveller’s notebooks ,( and guilt over buying the wrong kind of leather) I made two more small ones using the leather from a handbag.

Last night after checking that there was a big concert on I went out around 10. 30pm. It might have been good, but I lasted around twenty minutes.

I can hear tonight’s event tuning up now.

The water seems to be off. There is probably a notice about it somewhere that I haven’t  seen 

Wine time now.
