2026 in Pisticci….back to normal…..

I’m not exactly sure what normal is…..not feste perhaps….

As I’m  still a little obsessed with making leather covers for books I had a serious search for more leather this morning.

And I found a handbag I bought in Fuerteventura about 20 years ago, which I liked, but rarely ever used.

I probably should have taken more time with the elastics, but I like it. And it might get used now.

I looked for some more photos of women on Unsplash and now I have 77 photos to chose from.

During my three hour lunch break I got out my newest easel and checked that my paintings for the exhibition will fit. I remember arriving at an exhibition  before and not being able to set up the easel. Very proud of myself for planning. ( Though , if it’s  windy I have a problem. )

The photos are to remind me how to set these up 

And then it rained!!!!

Eventually I got around to my plan for today to draw another portrait.

Work in progress ….I’m  hoping to have fun with the background eventually.

This was in 2010. The lights are different every year.

I think I can hear some tuning up coming from piazza Lombardy. I’ll   probably take a walk round just to look later on. If I’m  right then it will be someone famous singing tonight so it will be packed. 

Now it must be wine time.

Maybe I’ll investigate Netflix tonight, ran out of Maigret and fed up with Sherlock Holmes.
