Started the day with my usual email to my little brother. Not much news this week. Just a new place to write from.

Everything that’s happened this week has been normal stuff. Very pleasant nevertheless.

Probably the most important thing happening is the freedom to go out any time now that the weather has changed.

Came home after coffee with a friend and it wasn’t  too hot. I even found a pair of cord trousers to wear.

Now that I’ve  laid away most of my summer clothes I’m looking forward to the brief season where I can wear lots of different outfits without taking into account being too hot or too cold.

This afternoon I did some preparation  for the next week.

Wrote up exactly what work I need to do and the correct phone numbers.

And I have an extra painting of Oliveto Lucano to do in November.

I now have all the necessary products ordered to protect my brick sign. ( hopefully I can use the primer and varnish on something else in the future.)

It looks like I have three portraits to do….and possibly another two, as well as a large painting of Pisticci.  That should keep me busy enough in October  and still leave me time to paint some of my own stuff.

Didn’t take any photos when I was out so took some in the street and noticed the pillow I hung out to air yesterday and then forgot about. 

I ought to sit outside more now that I can.

Meanwhile it’s wine time and Sunday vlogs.
