I was woken up by loud thunder this morning. I could see lightening illuminating the sky through the little window above my door.

As I was awake I got up and found the last ice lolly in the fridge and then ordered new pillows online. I hate wasting time.

Yawn!!!!

By the time I went out to meet a friend for coffee it had stopped raining. I love that I can now wear layers and more interesting  clothes.

This afternoon  I worked for an hour and a half on the latest painting  and tried not to ruin it.

I like bits of it, but I’m not sure what I think. It is completely  painted/ drawn with neocolour crayons. Some details are done by dipping a wet brush in shavings from these crayons.

There are a few things I might fix. I’ve  sprayed it with fixative so I can draw over the top without messing it up underneath. 

It was definitely more fun to do than normal paintings.

It’s  rained off and on this afternoon.
