I had thought about going to Oliveto Lucano this month , but I’ve  got a lot of work so I’ve arranged a visit  for next month.

That will be my 4th visit, I think. The first time I went was to experience living, briefly , in a tiny village in Basilicata. I must have liked it.  My hosts are lovely people. I’m looking forward to seeing them again.

And I enjoyed painting it. Must take my neocolours this time and see what I can do.

This morning I had to go and buy catfood for my visiting cat family.

It’s  colder, but didn’t need a jacket.

This morning I worked on my big commission.

Then this afternoon I worked on my personal project and it was so much fun. It will be interesting to see the finished commission alongside this .

I’m using previous paintings as reference for both paintings.

I thought I’d  sit outside and read for a while afterwards , but it wasn’t  long before my cat family joined me.

Wine time now.
