2026 in Pisticci… another nicely busy day.

I was awake around 5am today and outside before the cats arrived.

My Verona project is progressing, but slowly.

I had an appointment before 9am and am now looking forward to a painting job in the future that will suit me very well .

Tuesday morning shopping went well. Getting the bus up the hill to the piazza makes such a difference.

There is a saint in that tree. One day I’ll take a photo.

Fluffy has just dropped by. She stares in the window at me and I feel obliged to let her in. She has a look!

4th time today.

This morning I worked on the big painting. It’s  not going very fast…….

Hoping to spend more time on it tomorrow.

After my nice long lunch break I worked on the portrait with the tractor. I wouldn’t  say that tractor tyres are my thing, but I did my best.

About 80% done.

Am listening to Ennio Morricone tonight. Usually I can’t as his music makes me sad.

Am finding some interesting old photos on Facebook memories.

In the olden days when I drove an Ape.
Am a bit impressed that I drew this.
Painted this a long time ago. It’s  in Basilicata.
These figures were all done in 2008. I was so conscious  of what was wrong with them that I didnt see the good bits. I think they all sold
This was in Martina Franca. It was sold.

It’s  nice to see paintings I had forgotten all about.

Wine time now  …. and maybe more Inspector George Gently.

Cheers 🍷🍷
