2026 in Pisticci…progress ….

At last I can see the end in sight of the big Pisticci scene. Instead of having my three hour lunch break today, I carried on working.

I think another two or three days should do it, but it is at the ” thank goodness it might be okay after all,” stage.

I have a twisty oleander to paint up the right side and then after that I should just be improving everything.

At least, that is the plan.

The tractor portrait is off to itsΒ  new home.

It was good to go out for a walk into town today.

On the way home.
Took a small detour.
I don’t like cars in photos, but that is quite a pretty yellow one.
Still the prettiest corner in Dirupo.

There is a not very nice smell in my house and I’m not sure if it is damp, drains or worse. I might have to do a small spring clean at the weekend incase it’s  ” worse.” I think, but am not sure, that when I came back from Scotland it was the same and after leaving the doors open it went away. Have had the window open all day. Fingers crossed!

I found a lovely photo from 2018 when I was living in my other little house.

Most of the character in this house has been painted by me, but in my little artist’s house it was the real  thing.

Wine time now.

Cheers 🍷🍷
