Due to the ” smell” problem in my house which required quite a lot of furniture moving and some cleaning,  I didn’t have as much time to spend on painting.

However, my house smells nice now.

I spent some time after lunch, as well as what was left of the morning, painting.

This morning it was good to look out at the sunrise.

This afternoon I enjoyed sitting  outside and reading.

My kind neighbour gave me these.

I had time to ” weed”.

I’m  giving up on Inspector George Gently because of his sidekick’s  attitude to women. I would imagine in that time period that was how things were. I would have been a teenager then and can remember enough incidents in my own life to want to be entertained by something else less realistic.

Might have to look at Netflix. But it’s  difficult to find something I like.

I grew up with the Waltons, Little house on the prairie, Anne of Green Gables, Ally Mcbeal, 30 something, Friends, Miss Marple, Midsomer Murders and the Darling Buds of May.

Wine time now and the weekend.
