Basilicata , according to some reports is in danger of becoming a red zone. So I am preparing.

It was a lovely morning and feeling as fit as s fiddle , great, what sleep does for me, I set off to buy more good wine. Just because I have a lot of wine in the house now does not mean I am planning on drinking more. It’s just comforting to know that it’s there. I prefer not to go into complicated psychological reasons for why I feel like that. 😊

On the way I noticed that the nice art shop lady has put a little bed on the doorstep of her shop for the corsa cat. I ‘m not sure if it was a stray but it seems to have been adopted and is quite fat looking. Lucky cat!

My next trip was to the supermarket where I was reasonably extravagant and bought more pocket coffee. ( think that will be my christmas treat.) Sweet potatoes. ( none of the ordinary kind, and hair dye. ( one of life’s necessities. )

This afternoon I started another ” chair” painting. I should finish it tomorrow.

It has been a lovely day and I have had the door open most of the time.

I think I may be having lasagne to eat tonight as I had to take it out of the freezer to get more fish fingers in.

The stove is lit now. Has been a very nice day.
