Today has been a bit weird because I have been thinking about my family member in Scotland who has covid. However I just got a phone call from him half an hour ago which made a difference. Imagination is a terrible thing.

The day started with me sitting on the doorstep and deciding to draw on my tablet the plant given to me by my neighbour last night. Unfortunately it started to rain….and then I got bored as there was an awful lot of intertwining bits and pieces.

After I had given up on that I more or less mooched about until I made myself finish my latest portrait.

That was followed by lunch.

Eventually I decided I needed something to take my mind of covid things and decided to make one stretcher. I made 3 in fact and was very well satisfied with that. Tomorrow I will staple on the canvas .

I am glad it’s wine time now.
