It is a bit tiring all this heat……not that I am complaining.

Tonight there is particularly pretty light and a lovely breeze.

I’ve been out for a glass of wine with a friend, collected my prescriptions and paid my wifi bill and spoke to several people.

Tomorrow I should get my second vaccine. It feels quite important….though it would feel more important if the delta variant wasn’t lurking.

I have just been given an enormous courgette and various other round green things which can go in a salad, from my neighbour.

The sky is turning pink now and the pretty light has gone.

I’m hungry as it’s now almost 8.30pm and I have not in 16 years trained my stomach to be comfortably happy to eat after about 7pm.

Drat…my wine is full of dead midges or similar!!!

I spent most of today making a painting reach the edges of the canvas. Best I can say is that I don’t think you can see the joins.

Now I must go inside and tip my bug infested wine down the plug hole and pour myself a new glass.
