That was quite scary . There was a sudden downpour accompanied by a loud knocking noise on the roof. Big hailstones.

It has almost stopped now.

A few years ago before my roof was fixed I would have been wet inside.  I still look for water just incase. My yogurt tub cut in half and cemented onto the wall to direct water away from my electric  box is a reminder of the old days when I would  rush around placing boxes round the house to catch all the drips and try to tell myself that the dripping sound was quite musical.

There was no bench painting today as it rained this morning.

After tonight there is no more rain forecast for the next week , but the temperatures  will be around 29C.

It’s 29C in my house tonight. That’s 3 degrees less than at the weekend. The fan isn’t on.

Drew a quick triple portrait in pencil this morning. It was supposed to be just a sketch ,but I got a bit carried away.

I was supposed to be going out tonight, but maybe we will meet up here instead.

Won’t be watering my flowers this evening.

A glass of wine is just what I need.
