I didn’t think that I would get as far as I did. I will leave them all tomorrow and have fun painting poppies. After having to get things exactly right then some poppies which will still look like poppies even if they don’t turn out exactly how I planned will be a treat to paint.

Portrait painting is strange. Maybe I can only see the paint. I always think I could have done better somehow.

Next week I start a big portrait using oil paint. That’ll be interesting. I haven’t painted an oil portrait for years.

I was going to take my granny trolley to the supermarket today ,but decided I would feel better if I carried on working on the 3d portrait. It’s not as if I don’t have any food.

Only went outside once today. It was like this.
