Since the beginning of January I’ve had a steady amount of work. Quite a few commissions and then my new series of local scenes. The local scenes will probably take me until April or even May to finish. It depends on whether I get more commissions.

It’s a good feeling , when I have something constructive to do .

Today I was working on the portrait commission which includes a baby who I’m glad to say now looks friendly and not evil any more. It’s such a subtle difference , but I managed . Now I just have his parents to finish.

I stopped at lunch time and after a quick trip to the supermarket where I forgot the thing I need most, I carried on with my latest local scene . It includes the top of the water tower, half a scooter and some houses thereby fulfilling the criteria for a saleable painting. Local feature for tourists, someone’s house for locals and scooter for both.

Just popped out to see if there was a nice sunset.

I enjoy checking Facebook memories and this photo was from 2011 when these guys played, sang and danced for me ……an unforgettable experience.

I did 2 paintings from the photos I took.

However it’s wine time now after another ” working” day.
