And not much sleep.

For the first time in ages I was awake worrying about stuff in the middle of the night.

Usually I am awake and only worried about not sleeping.

My current ” worry ” is

1. Getting from Pisticci to the airport.

2. Going to ” plague island. “

In the middle of the night everything seems so much more difficult.

So , if I have to ,I will stay overnight in Bari so that I can get to the airport in time and with less stress.

And maybe in 5 weeks covid will be on the wane in Scotland. ( at 3am I was resigned to going to Scotland to get covid.)

Despite lack of sleep I got to work on my latest local scene and finished it . I’m quite pleased with the result as it was not the most obvious scene to paint.

I just had time to go out and discover that I have a rose. The very first one this year ……..

…when friends arrived. It’s so good to spend time with people again.

Today I lit the stove early so I am warm and comfortable. ( and not polite to freeze guests.)

Now I have another friend arriving soon.

Wow! All these people! 😀
