I’m sitting outside , but wondering if it’s still too hot. It’s after 5pm and there is a wind blowing ,but it’s quite warm.

I haven’t done very much today , except read while lying on my sun lounger. ( in my little gallery / bedroom – not outside.)

I went to the supermarket mainly so that I would go out and get some exercise.

It looks like covid numbers are rising in Italy and yesterday almost everyone in the supermarket was wearing FFP2 masks, even though it is not compulsory.

I came back by a different route.

I found where the road has been closed because of the house with a crack.

This week I have 2 large commissions to do and possibly a smaller one. Also I might need to get organised to do a complicated mural.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be getting on with local scenes so I’ve got set up in my gallery where it’s cool and my plan is to draw as many as possible and then paint them when I get the commissions finished. I sold 3 last week so I need to replace them.

I hope my insect repellent sprays arrive tomorrow as most years I get a few bites and then I’m okay, but this year I feel like a fruitcake. Thankfully most of them aren’t itchy. I haven’t used insect repellent since the first year I lived here.

Sunday wine time now .
